REFUSE TO COME OUT AS YOU WENT IN:
Luke 4:14
And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
I was meditating on some events of life sometime ago and the Holy Spirit said to my spirit, “where and how you were born may not be your fault but where you sit in life is your fault. When people ignore you, it’s not because they hate you or are proud but because your results are not strong enough to command enough attention”. Ha! I said, okay Sir.
Looking at our text above, Jesus did not go about shouting, ‘I am the Son of God, honour me’ He went in search of what it took to command compulsory attention.
Listen, stop getting angry about how you are been treated now. Stop complaining about disrespect from people. Stop murmuring about favouritism here and there. Stop whining about who doesn’t have manners. You may not control people’s behavior but you can determine how they behave towards you by your results.
THE GOVERNMENT THROUGH MR CORONA HAS GIVEN YOU ENOUGH TIME TO REDEFINE AND REDEEM YOURSELF!
Just determine you are not coming out of this season the same way you went in. Respect by age is only compulsory in village gatherings not in spheres of accomplishment.
There’s a level of result you will have in your current field that compulsorily influences people’s behavior when they are around you. Even those known for terrible misbehavior adjusts themselves when you appear. The same security agents molesting ordinary people in Nigeria are also carrying bags, purses, phones and running errands for other Nigerians.
In life, People don’t give you attention because you are growing old but because of what your presence represents. Attention and respect are not free, they’re earned!
THE GOVERNMENT THROUGH MR CORONA HAS GIVEN YOU ENOUGH TIME TO REDEFINE AND REDEEM YOURSELF!
I have some people say, “the louder your Amen, the faster your blessings come or your stories changes”. You shouted the loudest Amen yet your situation has not shown any sign of change.
Now hear me, it’s good to pray and shout Amen but, shouting only Amen in church or on social media will not give you the needed change of situation, neither does engaging only in daily night vigils give it to you. There’s a place for prayer, a place for study, a place for learning, a place for working and a place for the prophetic in activating a change of story. This is the time to explore them all.
The Bible says, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,...2Tim 2:15. Jesus grew in wisdom as He studied and then grew in favour with God and people. They did not give Him the book to read in Luke 4:16-20 while they sat to hear him because He was Jesus but because they knew He could read very well having watched Him sit before doctors of the law, hearing and asking them questions.
What you are looking for maybe in a book somewhere, a mentor somewhere, a conference or seminar somewhere or with a man you need to sit under and listen to somewhere. This is the time to reorganize yourself.
THE GOVERNMENT THROUGH MR CORONA HAS GIVEN YOU ENOUGH TIME TO REDEFINE AND REDEEM YOURSELF!
Hear this:
1. Your refusal to pay deliberate attention to yourself today will position you for looking for attention here and there tomorrow.
2. Those people and things taking your time now, will not give you time tomorrow if you are not in tune with tomorrow’s time.
3. Your background is not your real problem but your decision to determine its value in shaping your future.
4. The world is wired to naturally tilt its respect and honor towards success and affluence by default. It has nothing to do with your person. Reposition yourself now.
5. If Jesus gave Himself to study, prayer and brutal work to break free from a life of average despite being God in the flesh, why do you think you can claim it by only shouting Amen in church?
6. There’s no successful Pastor that works less than ten hours everyday to have something worth your continuous audience. That’s why not many are at the top. Apply the same principles to your business or career while you shout a loud Amen to their prayers.
7. Having done all the above, then connect to prophetic grace through your seed for a speedy shift upwards.
I leave you with this scripture:
Job 8:7
Though thy beginning was small,
yet thy latter end should greatly increase.
Use this season to redefine yourself and come out bouncing and galloping towards destiny.
You won’t fail!
You are coming out of this season better and bigger!
