The sun has its glory, the moon has its glory, No one can stop the glory of the sun from rising. Politics has to do with government and the rule that governs. Politics is everywhere, it is the authoritative allocation of scarce resources.
According to Aristotle, man is a political animal, if you are not you are an outcast like a bird which flies alone. We act politically when we take decisions on behalf of people.
Politics is also an activity through which people make, preserve and amend general rules that govern living. A nation that does not project to the future is ready to be destroyed. If there must be a shift in national wealth, we must start thinking, and change our mindset to have a shift.
POLITICS AND THE SCRIPTURES
God is interested in Politics, Isaiah 9:6 A king is a political mandate, Matthew 2:2, Revelation 5:10, Zechariah 13: 7b.You must have a solution mindset. When you don't participate in politics and governance mediocrity rules.

According to Plato, those who are too smart to engage in politics end up being ruled by those who are dumber. Politics is not a profession, it is for all of us, we must participate.
Qualities/
1. You must know that God is sovereign, Ps 75:6 1 Sam 2:6-8. If you miss God, you have missed it.
2. You must have a solution mindset like Joseph. Acts 9:6 They may not like your face, but if you have a solution mindset, men will put you on top. Acts 9:6
3. Be ready to make sacrifices, John 10:11, Esther 4:16.
4. You must have a service mindset, Job 13:5, John 13:8-12. Be prepared to serve and not to show off. Ephesian 6:6, Colossians 3:2 Avoid eye service.
5. STUDY 2 Timothy 2:15 If you don't study, you can never be approved. Only readers can be leaders.
6. Submit to authority 2Kings 3:11 You need a man to name you. Ziba named Mephibosheth. 2 Samuel 23:15-17 As a child of God, you have to stay in the front. You must be knowledgeable.
7. You must be a team player, 1 Cor 3:6, you must be ready to work with people.
8. Step out, step forward and take action- Any gift that is not expressed can’t perform purpose. If you have what it takes, step out, whether you vote or not there will be a counsellor. Make decision in righteousness.
9. Run away from sin. Genesis 39:7-13
10. Raise successors- Daniel raised Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego.
11. Stay in His presence. Genesis 39 :1-5
It is only where the spirit is there’s liberty. Sustain and retain what you got by prayer with prayer.
