OPENING PRAYER
So Father, we just want to thank You for who You are, we thank You for who You has always been and we thank You for who You will be for ever, blessed be Your Holy Name in the name of Jesus, Father, this morning we gather to hear/learn from You on how to run profitable businesses, please Lord, teach us how to do it, make us very successful in life, let everything we do be very profitable.
We thank You for what You have done so far in the Youth program, thank You Lord for Your glory and power. Manifest Your power, we will never remain the same, Glory be to Your Holy name, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
Somebody shout a big Hallelujah
God knows how to run a profitable business and He can teach us, if you want to know how to run a profitable business, ask the Lord.
WHAT TO DO TO START A BUSINESS
1. Spiritual revelation/understanding
Proverbs 29:18, Psalms 127:1 God can speak about anything if you ask. Jeremiah 33:3
2. Physical knowledge- secular understanding. Hosea 4:6. Isaiah 33:6, Deuteronomy 28:12
3. Applicationof spiritual and secular knowledge. Psalms 1:1-3 You need to work for God to bless the work of your hands. Prosperity means to be able to multiply what you are doing.
RUNNING A PROFITABLE BUSINESS
You need these to run a profitable business
1. Capital
Capital is what you sow into a business, business can't go far without capital, the more the better. The ministry of Jesus is a spiritual business. Mark 10 28-30 Galatian 6 7
Ways of getting capital
(a)Savings - Joseph’s formula of saving- save 20% of what you earn. Genesis 41 34
(b) manage weak force - convert gift to capital.
(c) idle asset
2. Capacity
Acquire relevant skills, competence is needed. Luke 24:42,46-48, Luke 3 23
3. Character
You can’t go far in business if you can’t do it well. Do the business with integrity.
4. Commitment/Diligence
Proverbs 22:29 Determination, resilience and refusing to give up. Genesis 26 12 22
5. Curtailment
Control your lifestyle/excesses Luke 15 11-16 You can only be rich if you cortrol your expenses.
6. Communication
Communication maintain a network of people, your worth is your network. Proverbs 18:24
7. Confrontation
Romans 8 37, Deuteronomy 2: 24, business is war/battle. God will give you victory.
8. Catapult
Move to the next level. 1 Chronicles 4:9 Enlarge your business and expand your thinking
horizon.
9. Divine counsel. Proverbs 15:22, Proverbs 11:14 You need a mentor.
10. Commercial orientation
Luke 2:49, John 3:16 God gave Jesus to win the world.
KEGEL for determining the kind of business you will do, you must have:
(a)passion for it.
(b) be good at it.
(c)the world must need it.
(d)be rewarded.
PRAYER
*Father, teach me how to make profitable.
*Father we present ourselves to You, from this morning, teach us how to make profits and to avoid losses in Jesus name.
*Equip us with all the resources that we need and let your name be glorified.
*In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
ALTAR CALL
*If you want God to help you, you must be a friend of God. If you want to give your life to Jesus, run to the altar.
*Almighty God, in the name of Jesus, I pray for everyone who wants to come to You, save their souls, remove their names from the book of death and write their names in the book of life.
*Give them power to live holy, release the anointing they need not only to prosper but also to make heaven.
*Save souls and have mercy, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
