*OPENING PRAYER*
Hallelujah.
I have been praying for you because I know that you are amazing people, to stay up all night and and be in this meeting today. God will supernaturally give you new energy and minister to you because you are faithful, we thank You Lord for your presence, Lord we thank You now that we can ask the Holy Spirit to be with us, give us new power, energy and revelation. We come to you in the name of Jesus today, shine a new light in our lives, we give You glory, we thank You Holy Spirit for Your presence, Holy Spirit revive us, in Jesus’ name we prayed.
*THE MESSAGE: John 4:24*
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
*WORSHIP*
God is a spirit. Hebrew 13:15 Praise is a garment that you can put on i can praise God with you but not like you Ephesians 5:8, Romans 12:1 We worship God in truth or in pretence. We pretend on the outside but the inside is fake. Never be impressed by volume because sometimes the most broken and confused people shout the loudest. Volume is not a sign of spirituality.
We need to be careful of the five senses of man which we control by our flesh.
We have five senses in man: what we see with our eyes, what we touch, what we taste, what we smell and what we hear. Enemy can use these five things to starve your spirit, we have to put all these in God’s control and He will show us how to manage the five senses given to us because we can see beautiful things, hear wonderful things, we can smell, taste and touch.
When we worship I believe there are many things we honestly promise God, we speak to God in our worship. Remember satan is the accuser of the brethren and he wants to prevent us from deep relationship and contact with God, he will try anything to prevent this contact. He will try to keep you away because he is the accuser of the brethren, he accuses you day and night before the father.
*WHAT IS WORSHIP?*
Worship is the activity of glorifying God in His presence with our hearts, minds and voices. Worship is also the direct expression of our ultimate purpose for living, because worship is a lifestyle, it is also an outward display of our belief, it is a privilege to worship, it is normal to worship, it is a proper response to God and all our worship leads to Christ. John 4:22.
1.God cares how we worship: style and volume of worship. Worshiping from the head is just a habit, it doesn't bring glory to God, worship is not a style but a lifestyle. Worship involves our will and emotion, understanding will first and then emotion follows your understanding.
Worship is fundamentally hearing God’s word and responding to it.
*PUBLIC AND PRIVATE WORSHIP*
Public worship is not the same thing as private worship, there are elements that are good for public and private worship, private and public worship are necessary.
Worship on earth is appropriation for worship in heaven.
*TO WORSHIP IN SPIRIT*
Having a good spiritual life can affect your worship, we can worship God whenever and wherever there is no limit, He is not bound to a church, bedroom, … You can worship God while driving, walking, ... In spirit means with your whole mind and heart are engaged. Romans 12:1 Worship is a lifestyle of pre existing surrendering everything to God.
*TO WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH*
God is looking for someone to worship in spirit and in truth, God and you becoming one in lifestyle of worship.1 John 1:5-8 Illusion looks real but not real, doing everything for nothing. If we really want God to move we must declare that nobody can do for us what He can do, God is longing to hear that. When we begin to worship and praise Him with truth, we will begin to have breakthrough, we can begin to move mountains and glorify God as we tell him we want Him more than anything else, more than a car, house, money, ...
If you make God number one in spirit and in truth, He will do mighty things for you. God knows who you are because you are His sheep, He can hear you. Focus on him 100% in truth. When we worship God we become one with Him, we need the Holy Spirit to have communion with God and He gives new dimension to our worship and makes it sincere.
*TRUTH*
Truth is something that has been proven by sincerity. Qualities of truth are: loyalty, trustworthiness, genuineness, honesty and sincerity.
Mark 7 list things that defile a man, the main one is pride.
*We can begin to tell Him that:*
* He’s Jehovah Tsidkenu - Our Righteousness.
* Jehovah M'kaddesh - He’s the One who Sanctifies.
*Jehovah Shalom - He’s Peace.
*Jehovah Shamah- He’s here.
*Jehovah Rapha - He heals.
Jehovah Nissai - He’s my banner.
*Jehovah Rohi - He’s my shepherd.
He is our shepherd, He can hear our cry.
