TEMBER 2019 HOLY GHOST SERVICE*
*TOPIC: LIFTED INTO GLORY*
*TEXT: EXODUS 33:13-22*
*MINISTERING: DEACON DANIEL OLAWANDE - Deacon Daniel Olawande, Youth Pastor RCCG Living Seed Church.*
Anytime a topic is released, the first question is to know the mind of the Father concerning the topic. I asked the Holy Ghost why this topic and the Holy Ghost said, there are two possibilities but they are many,
1. If the theme means lifted into Glory, it means Glory is a location that I can enter because the word INTO is a preposition, it means come inside something, it means glory is a house that can house me.
2. If the theme is lifted into Glory, it means to come to that house is a possibility, it means I am coming into a new house.
Moses said can you lift me into glory, Exodus 33:18. He said show me your glory, God gave him four definitions of glory, Exodus 33:19
1. I will make my goodness pass before thee
2. I will Proclaim the name Lord before thee
3. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious and show mercy to whom I will show mercy
4. Thou cannot see my face, Exodus 33:20
Moses was asking for glory but God gave him four definitions of glory, He said;
1. Glory is my goodness
2. Glory has a name
3. This Glory is a custodian of grace and mercy
4. Glory is my face
Exodus 33:21-22
5. Glory can walk - this glory can walk, is a being. God is the glory that is passing. Glory is not a thing, is a person because He has a face. Glory is a being
Exodus 33:22-23
6. God is the Glory that is passing by
Moses saw the back of God, he saw the past. Moses was lifted in the past of God because He saw the back of God which is the past of God. He saw what God did in the past. Moses could not see the face of God but saw the back which represent the past of God. Haggai 2:9, if Moses saw the back, I will see the face because the glory of the latter shall be greater than the former. Lifted into Glory means lifted in to a person. I am not interested in the past, I am interested in the face.
Isaiah 60:1 - Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
Acts 10:38 - God has goodness.
Who has a name? Philippians 2:9-11. At the mention of the name of Jesus, it means Jesus has another name, which is Jesus is Lord. Jesus fulfilled the criteria of that name Lord. John 1:1-2, 14, He is the owner of the glory. Who has the face? 2 Corinthians 4:6, Jesus Christ. That Glory is in the face of Jesus. Jesus is the one that is good, has a name, has the grace and mercy and Jesus is the one that has the face.
Lifted into Glory, means coming to Christ because He is the one that fulfils all the criteria. He gave Moses the rod but didn't give him the name but He has given us the name that at the mention of the name every knee will bow. Jesus is the name.
*How can I be lifted into Glory?*
1. Salvation qualifies you to be in the Glory. At Salvation, you are regenerated. At salvation my gene was removed and the gene of Jesus Christ was inserted. I am lifted from earth to Zion. At salvation you are recreated. Salvation changes your country to Zion. In Zion glory is spent and not dollars or pounds. Glory is spent in Heaven and not money. Glory never changes value because glory is a person, Hebrew 13:8, Jesus the same yesterday, today and forever. Lifted into glory means lifted into Jesus.
2. Look at glory because you look like what you look at, 2 Corinthians 3:18. Your problem is that you have not been looking at yourself but you have been looking at something else, you have been looking at your problems, look at glory. Look at Jesus, you look like Him because you are the image of God. The word of God is a mirror, when you look into it, you be like it. Look at the word, whatever the word didn't say, you don't look like. What the word says about me is what I look like.
3. 2 Corinthians 3:18. The currency for change is language. God is a spirit, you are a son of a spirit. John 4:24. Son of a spirit is Spirit. If you changed by the spirit, you need the understand the language of the spirit. My changing is in consonant with my tonging. Praying in the Holy Ghost is the language of change. You have not changed because you are not talking. Speaking in tongue is the currency for changing.
God bless you!
