RCCG FOUNTAIN OF LIFE: SEPTEMBER 2019 HOUR OF MERCY

RCCG FOUNTAIN OF LIFE
SEPTEMBER 2019 HOUR OF MERCY
TOPIC: NO MORE LOSS:
TEXT: Acts 27:22-24, 44.
PREACHER: Pst Amos Busari
And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee... And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.
Acts 27:22-24, 44.
Paul had a vision or an encounter where he was told his destination and the fact that ‘THOU MUST APPEAR BEFORE CEASER’ but midway the journey, the means to the destination came under attack and could no longer serve the purpose of taking them to their destination. The ship ended its journey in the sea but Paul’s journey had to continue to Rome. Though the ship was broken but still left them with broken pieces with which they were expected to swim to the nearest shore before another ship could be made available for the journey to continue. They had a choice to sink with the broken ship or lay hold on any useful piece of it to arrive at safety.
Now listen! There’s nothing that happened to you or is happening to you now that will ever make your case peculiar. Many have gone through that and even worse yet came out to still affect their world positively. Why would you abandon your journey because you had a flat tyre?
You may have failed God in your character and lifestyle but that shouldn’t be your end. God is still interested in you. Rise up and get back to God now!
People may have failed on their promises to you and so? They are not your God! Your God is still alive and on the throne, He will touch someone else on your behalf.
It’s a job, contract or relationship you lost not your life or your health.
Lessons:
1. A clear vision of destination imparts hope, strength and enthusiasm to survive in the midst of unplanned human or satanic opposition.
2. Every challenge that confronts a man of vision always leaves him with a lesson or a blessing.
3. Refuse to submit your destination to your confrontation even if your vehicle seems uncooperative.
4. Divine purpose can never be aborted. Where existing vessel fails to deliver, the purpose can be transferred to another willing vessel.
5. Never bemoan a failed situation, rather maximize the transition season to add real value to yourself and those around you in whatever way you can. Paul ministered and allowed God to perform miracles through him to the people of the island before a new ship came.
6. Your vision is not a failure because your process failed. The process may fail many times but the product is still achievable if you refuse to fail with the process.
7. Be passionate and tenacious about your vision but be flexible with the procedure. Never have emotional attachment to any process.
8. Be sensitive to know when to let go what is trying to sink your vision and truncate your destination.
9. Some vessels (human or organisation) may be useful for your take off but may not be what you need to arrive your destination. A car sometimes is needed to bring you to the airport for you to take an aircraft to the destination.
10. Pick the useful pieces from every situation quickly before the waves of life drive them far away from you and you begin to struggle afresh. Imagine what could have happened to Paul if there was nothing to hold in the storm.
Prayer Points:
*Every power of darkness causing losses in my life, be destroyed in Jesus Name!
*Father! Shine your light and let me recover all my lost treasures in Jesus Name!
*Father! Grant me grace for spiritual sensitivity to act quickly and wisely in Jesus Name!
*My vision shall not be buried by any situation!
*Paul made it to Rome, I shall make it to the end!
*This year is not permitted to leave me empty handed in Jesus Name!
God bless you!
