COMPETING OR COMPLEMENTING?

COMPETING OR COMPLEMENTING?
Don’t make your relationship a ground for competition between you and your partner; rather make it a ground for complementing each other.
In a competition; there will always be a winner and a loser and you get to hide game plans from each other. A competition also attracts external loyalists separately to the partners thereby giving room for ‘coaches’ and ‘technical advisers’ whose only aim and objective is to see one of the partners always wining and the other always losing. You win laurels(encomiums) that you cannot relate with. Or who makes love to laurels?
On the other hand, if you make yours a ground for complementing; you both lose in order to win together! When you complement, you lose bad habits, ‘supremacy’, time, resources etc but you gain(win) a better you, a better partner and a working relationship. Yes, you become a winning team!
