SPECIAL PRAYER FOR ROYAL FATHERS, FATHERS, INTENDING FATHERS AND THEIR FAMILIES
TOPIC: DIVINE CHAMPIONS

OPENING PRAYER
Thank You Father.
Let’s lift our hands to the Most high God and bless His holy name; let’s give Him all the glory and honour because He is worthy to be praised, let’s bless Him for everything He has done since the beginning of the year, worship Him for what He did for you in January, give Him glory for what He did in February, magnify His holy name because He reigns forever; there is no one like Him, all power belong to Him, continue to give Him glory and honour for what He has done for you, your family, the church of God, magnify His holy name because He has surrounded you in all sides and protecting You, thank You Father, in Jesus’ mighty name we have worshipped.
+Let’s lift our voices to the Almighty God and ask Him to visit all fathers and anoint them heavily so that they will be able to perform the roles of a father, make them head indeed and supply everything they need.
+Pray that our fathers (young and old) will be good examples to their children; good representatives of the Most high God.
+Pray for mothers; there can't be fathers without mothers, pray that the Almighty God will take care of all the mothers and anoint them to be good helpmeet for their husbands.
+Pray for those who are fathers to be; those trusting God for wife, pray that they will not marry the wrong person and pray that our homes will be heaven on earth.
+Cry to the Almighty God for a very special blessing for the month of March; that this month will be a month of mighty testimony in your life. Talk to Him because He answers prayers.

Ancient of Days, we just want to bless Your holy name; we thank You for everything You have done for us since the beginning of the year, thank You for protection, for building a wall of fire round about us, our families, and Your church. Thank You for a new beginning, a new month in this new year, Father, accept our thanks in Jesus’ name.
Father, today, we are praying for all fathers, bless our fathers, bless those who are already fathers, and those that will become fathers.
Embarrass Your children who are faithful in giving of their tithes and offerings with blessings, bless them so much that they will say it is too much, Lord, let this month be a month of mighty breakthrough for everyone of us, Lord, God Almighty, we pray that you will keep on having mercy on our blessed nation Nigeria, thank You Father, glory be to Your holy name, in Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.
THE MESSAGE: DIVINE CHAMPION
TEXT - 1 Samuel 17:45-51
45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
46 This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
47 And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands.
48 And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came, and drew nigh to meet David, that David hastened, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.
49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.
51 Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.
+Today, in the name that is above other name, the champions of your enemies will die.
DIVINE means pertaining to God Almighty, 2 Peter 1:2-4.
CHAMPION means a representative in a contest or in a battle; it could be a representative of people or a nation.
1 Samuel :17-10, Goliath was the champion of the Philistines.
When your champion wins you win and if he loses you have all lost. For example, when Green Eagles represent Nigeria, if they win, Nigeria have won and if they lose, God will have mercy on us.
A champion is a representative; representing a family, church, nation, …
A champion is the one who remains standing when the battle is over particularly in boxing. In 1 Samuel 17:5, when Goliath fell, David stood on him to let everybody know that he is the real champion.
DIVINE CHAMPION: The possibility of someone who is a representative of God; God’s champion, divine champion, for example, in
1 Kings 18:21-24, Elijah stood on Mount Carmel and said “i'm representing God and the prophets of Baal are representing Baal.”
On the other hand, a divine champion could be someone who is a champion because of divine enablement (backing of God/supported by God).
1 Samuel 17:45-47, David said to Goliath “i come against thee in the name of the God of Israel; i’m representing God, i will win because God will give me the enablement”
Even though two people met to fight; the battle was actually between the God of Israel and the god of the Philistines. Goliath sweared by his god to deal with David and David said “i come in the name of my God”
In contests; football, boxing, games ...THERE ARE THREE POSSIBILITIES: winner, loser and a drawn game.
In battle/war, there are two possibilities; win or lose and the winner takes all.
Life is war, it is either you win or lose.
+You will never be a loser in the name that is above every other name.
A loser in war will either end up dead or captive, Judges 16:18-30, when Samson lost to Philistines, they plucked his eyes, bound him in the prison and he was in servitude till he died.
+Everyone of you who are true children of the living God will never lose another battle in Jesus’ name.
You are already a champion if you are a child of God because the bible says greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, the word of God says you are more than a conqueror because God loves you.
*You are not allowed to lose to sickness, according to 1 Peter 2:24, by His stripes you were healed; you can tell the sickness in your body to get out.
*You are not allowed to lose to demons (bondage) because according to John 8:32&36
Verse 32, If you know the truth you will be free, you already know Jesus.
Verse 36, If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.
*You are not allowed to lose to bondage, tell any demon terrorising you to get away because you are a divine champion.
*You are not allowed to lose to poverty, Philippians 4:19, God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
***You are not just a divine champion, you have to demonstrate it, for example, in Mark 16:17-18, you are to lay hands on the sick and they will recover, demonstrate that you are a champion; demonstrate your championship over sickness by laying hands on the sick and make them whole.
Acts 3:1-8, Peter laid his hand on the man at the beautiful gate and he began to walk.
+I'm declaring today that every one of you, (my children) when you lay your hand on the sick, they will recover.
When i visited Zambia for the first time, i ate something that didn't quite agreed with me and i used the toilet for about 24 times and i remember that i will lay hand on the sick and they will recover. I laid hand on my head and i commanded my stomach to obey the word of God and the stooling stopped.
***From now on, go out and lay hand on the sick and they will recover.
+Lay hand on your head right away and say “ i decree in the name that is above every other name, according to the word of God, every sickness in my body, get out now”
Demonstrate your championship over demons; you are asked to cast them out.
Acts 16:16-18, there was a girl with the spirit of divination that was troubling Paul and Silas as they were going to the temple. Paul commanded the demon to get out when he could not tolerate it and the bible says the demon left that same hour. You are a divine champion, you are not asked to spend a whole night casting out demon, just command; suppose i asked the demon to leave and it doesn't leave, it will leave if you are a true child of God.
When you are waiting for demons to leave, it shows that you don't know who you are and believe what you are saying, command demons to leave and leave the almighty God to perfect it.
A woman’s dress caught fire while I was preaching and she told us that her children were dying and she wanted protection. She visited ‘Aladura’ and the wife of ‘Aladura’ initiated her into witchcraft after eating kola nut, she began to fly at nights to attend meetings, sharing human flesh at the meeting, she presented her husband when it was her turn to present somebody and after two years, it was her turn again to present one of her children, then she began to look for help by moving from place to place until she came to church, we prayed a simple prayer, she went home and excreted a dead snake.
+ Every demon in you and every plant that God had not planted in you will die and come out in Jesus’ name.
+You will go out and begin to cast out demons and they will obey in Jesus’ name.
You must demonstrate that you are a divine champion by challenging the devil because He says “these signs shall follow them that belief in my name the will cast out devil, they will take up serpent; challenge the devil and the devil have to obey your instructions”.
James 4:7, if you submit to God, you will resist the devil and he will flee from you.
You have the power to tell the devil “i'm a divine champion and you have to do what i say”
When we first came to the Redemption camp, we were clearing the bush and I was going round one day and I saw something strange happening; I saw fire on a tree at night and I thought my children lit the fire under the tree and forgot to put it out. I looked at the tree in the morning and there was no trace of fire; the tree was as green as ever, i called the people in the camp and they said they have been hearing strange voices from the tree and i told them to cut the tree. As they were cutting the tree, the villagers said the tree will rise again and those involved in the cutting will die but i told them to cut the tree, the tree was cut in 1983, it never rose and those who cut it are still alive.
*Go and be a champion because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
You can't challenge the devil and demons unless you belong to Jesus Christ, because in Acts 19:11-17, some people saw Paul casting out demons and imitated him, demons beat them and tore their clothes and they fled through the windows, you don’t fight with your master. If the devil is your master, please, don’t command demons to leave, if you do, he will beat you or transfer the demon to you. Come to Jesus and the devil won't come near you, because the bible says they overcame him by the blood of the lamb.
PRAYER FOR SALVATION
Surrendering your life to Jesus Christ will make you a divine champion; if you are listening to me and have not surrendered your life to Jesus, come now.
Cry to the Lord now: Ask him to be merciful unto you, save your soul, wash you in His blood, receive you into the family of God and turn you to a divine champion.
Let’s stretch our hands towards these people and intercede for them; that the Almighty God who saved our souls will save theirs.
My Father and my God, we want to bless Your holy name, we give you all the glory and honour for sending Your word to Your people today, thank You for all these people that have responded to Your word and have come to surrender their lives to You, thank You for these people who are saying “we don't want to have anything to do with the devil anymore, we want to spent our lives doing the will of God” Father, please, receive them, have mercy on them, let Your blood wash away their sins, please, Lord God Almighty, save their souls, write their names in the book of life, receive them into the family of God, from now on, when they resist the devil, the devil will flee from them, uphold them till the very end so that we will all be there to reign with You in Your kingdom.
Please, Lord God Almighty, Your children will be praying now, as they pray, please, answer them by fire, turn each and every one of them to Your champions today so that they will never suffer another loss, in Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.
CLOSING PRAYER
Let’s lift our voices to the Almighty God and command everything that is not of God in our lives to disappear; sickness, poverty, disease, bondage, … tell all those things that you are a champion of the Most high God and come against them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Call on the Almighty God and He will answer you by fire in Jesus’ name.
